I have seen the strategy on how to obtain success in that mission. We are moving forward in that direction. Our mission: To turn our city upside down!

Now here is the strategy:
When Jesus was on earth He brought salvation, healing, and deliverance to all He touched. He was God made flesh. However, it was never said of Jesus that He turned the world upside down. It was only when believers caught His Spirit, His DNA that this statement was made (Acts 17:6). The principle is that one man can't do it alone. But when men and women (believers) start walking in His power, then regions can be transformed and turned upside down. Jesus knew this. That is why in Mark 16:17, He gave the believers power. This is my heart as a pastor. I want to raise up an army of believers with signs and wonders following them. It is the only way that we can transform our city.

Two weeks ago, 87 new people were launched into ministry at New Beginnings. We now have 321 ministry team members that are weekly going into the schools, prisons, hospitals, nursing homes, and the streets. We have already had testimonies of miraculous healing. One of the inmates had a niece that was in a coma after being hit by a car while riding her bicycle. The doctors said that it was likely she would never come out of the coma. One of our prison ministry members prayed with the inmate for a miracle. The very next morning, the girl came out of her coma as if nothing ever happened to her! We have even received a testimony of an elderly lady in the nursing home getting her sight back. She had to have constant care, help with putting her clothes on and brushing her teeth. Last week she went bowling! Her sight has been completely restored. All of this, after a believer prayed the prayer of faith. On top of all of this, people are accepting Jesus every where we go. Daily, the ministries of New Beginnings are populating heaven and plundering hell.

None of this would be happening without prayer. Every Monday night, we have four groups meeting in the four corners of our city. Over 100 people show up to prayer for prayer requests that have come via the Internet from people all over the world. They also pray for our ministry teams. They pray for salvation and miracles. These prayer meetings are setting the pace for all that is happening. The results we are seeing in our outreach ministries are a direct result of these prayer meetings. We have also received numerous testimonies from those who have sent in prayer requests. Believers are praying and signs and wonders are following.

As we continue to gain momentum, God is going to bring a change to our region. We will turn Orlando upside down!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4306778505397014735.post-56865693104896110202010-05-17T10:34:00.002-04:002010-05-17T10:43:33.187-04:00In Judges 20 we find Israel in a battle with the Benjamites. Before engaging in battle, Israel seeks the Lord and asks if they should go in to battle. The Lord responds by saying, “Go”. In the first encounter with the Benjamites, Israel is sorely defeated as they lost 22,000 men. So Israel inquires of the Lord a second time and God once again says, “Go”. During the second battle, Israel once again is defeated as they lost 18,000 men. Israel now asks the Lord a third time and God responds the same way as the other times before by saying, “go”. This third battle was their final battle as the Lord brought complete and total victory to Israel.
How many times have we felt like we heard from God to fight a battle and we ended up facing defeat! How many times have stepped out in faith just to be disappointed? The first thing we think is, “oh, I must have missed God”. We have been trained to believe that hearing direction from the Lord always results in victory. This story in Judges 20 tells us differently.

We must remember that individual battles do not determine the outcome of the war. You can loose 100 battles and win the right battle to win the war. We must never allow the devil to convince us that we “missed God” simply because we have not experienced immediate victory.
So why would God tell Israel to fight and not guarantee immediate victory? I believe there are 2 answers to that question found in Judges 20. First we must understand that Israel was fighting an army much smaller than themselves. Benjamin had 26,000 men against Israel’s 400,000 soldiers. Could it be that Israel went into battle with confidence in their own strength and numbers? How often do we go into battle confident in our own ability and faith? God will sometimes allow us to experience defeat to remind us that it is not by might, nor by power, but by His Spirit.

Secondly, we must understand that Israel was standing on the side of a just cause. They were in the “right” and Benjamin was in the “wrong”. How many times do feel that because we have stood for righteousness that victory is automatic? We sometimes take the blessing and favor of God for granted. We often feel like God owes us something because we have stood through so much. The truth is that God is not obligated to us, but rather we are obligated to Him.

I believe that God is directing us prophetically to go into battle just one more time. As we realize that God does not owe us victory and that it will not come as a result of our efforts, He will deliver the enemy into our hands. Some of you have been fighting a battle with the same enemy for years. You have never obtained victory. But now is the time. Fight the battle one more time, and you will win your war!!!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4306778505397014735.post-18383685171554439502010-04-28T02:28:00.002-04:002010-04-28T02:54:31.722-04:00I have not posted a blog in months! I have fallen off the "bloggin" wagon. I have decided to make an effort to be consistent in sharing my thoughts and the happenings of life and ministry on a continual basis. So here goes...

It is 2:30 am. I am sitting in my office wide awake. I have spent most of the evening and early hours of this morning reading emails, prayer request and praise reports that have come as a result of my frequent appearances on the largest Christian network in the world. It is a dream come true. I have prayed for this opportunity since I was 12 years old. In the midst of great pain, I asked the Lord to give me the platform to share His gospel with the entire world. That dream is being fulfilled.

I am not celebrating this moment because of selfish ambition, or the need of notoriety and the recognition of man. I am celebrating because after years of being faithful, God is entrusting me reach people around the world. Just realizing that I have the opportunity to pray and believe with so many is overwhelming. To say that I am humbled by this is an understatement.

All of this has refortified my conviction about what true and pure ministry should be. So many ministers are in it for themselves. They want to know how people can bless them, instead of realizing that the purpose of ministry is to be a blessing to others. That is what it was all about for Jesus and that is what it should be all about for ministry today. People are hurting. People are hopeless. They need ministers that carry a burden for their needs to give them encouragement and hope. They need ministry to stand in the authority and power of Jesus so that they may receive the miracle they so desperately need.

I promise you this. I have never been more focused on souls than I am now. May the Lord touch every person that has emailed, written, or called in with a prayer request. May they receive a manifested miracle, so that the name of Jesus would be glorified!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4306778505397014735.post-9189424548148665112009-04-26T07:59:00.002-04:002009-04-26T08:07:34.804-04:00Our Time In England

My wife and I returned yesterday from a week long ministry trip in the UK. This was our third trip in the last year. Many souls were saved and countless testimonies of healing are continuing to come in. I was overwhelmed every night, as people came from their seats to the altar to make the decision to serve Jesus and receive Him as their Savior. There is no greater joy!

As much as I enjoyed England, I am so glad to be home. This week will be a busy one. Monday, I will be on TBN from 10:00pm-12:00am. Then on Friday, I will be ministering at the Holy Land Experience. Please keep these events in your prayers.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4306778505397014735.post-64942551308711088612009-04-14T11:48:00.003-04:002009-04-16T08:49:33.215-04:00Off to England

This Thursday, Cristina and I are headed back to the UK! We will be ministering in several churches during our stay. You can get the full schedule from our web site http://www.jonathanmillerministries.com/.

The Lord has always blessed beyond our expectations every time we have gone to the UK. I am confident He will do it again! We ask for your prayers as we set out for a week of harvest, healing, and deliverance. I will update all of you as soon as we return. I know there will be many great stories and testimonies to share. What an awesome God we serve.

Mark 16:15-18
And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." NKJVUnknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4306778505397014735.post-54071132894923462102009-04-10T09:58:00.002-04:002009-04-10T10:18:40.909-04:00WOW!!

It has been a crazy couple months. Since the beginning of 09 it has been non stop action. The start of 09 marked a time of great transition and elevation for the ministry and church. In January, we had the opportunity to hold a special healing service at FaithWorld church here in Orlando. It resulted in even a greater door of opportunity as we were able to begin in March leasing the facility on a full time basis. The campus is massive and the the possibilities are endless. The sanctuary seats 3,000, the kids church is state of the art, and there is an incredible youth center as well. I am so thankful to the Lord for all He has done and is going to continue to do!

I am also thrilled by the release of my first book Healed to Minister. It has taken some time to get done, but it has been worth it. The end result, is what I believe to be a dynamite book that will touch many lives. The book deals with character issues and areas of dysfunction. God is more concerned with your character than your conquests. It also talks of the importance of forgiveness and freedom. Read at your own risk! It has already stirred up a lot of trouble! But for those who allow the revelation to pierce their heart, I know that great freedom and joy awaits. The church was packed with passionate worshippers and the Glory of God filled the room.

As we got into the thick of things, I could not help but sit there and weep. I was overwhelmed by the presence of God as I began sensing something prophetic happening. Jonathan began to prophecy in song over our church and the city of Orlando. The Word of the Lord was for the heavens to be open. Signs, wonders, and miracles are going to increase. I know that there was a release of things that we do not even realize or understand yet. Only time will tell how much was truly accomplished in the spirit. I am so thankful for Jonathan's obedience and ability to flow in the river of God's Spirit.

I am confident that every person present, was impacted and touched by His Glory. We truly went to the throne last night. We sat at the feet of Jesus. We will never be the same. It truly was a night to remember!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4306778505397014735.post-14584435218212134312008-09-18T10:00:00.003-04:002008-09-18T11:04:46.534-04:00You Definitely Want to Read This!

This week I had the privilege of being a guest on TBN's "Praise The Lord" from Miami. Pastor Rich Wilkerson and his son hosted. The other guests that night were great men of God, including Pastor Larry Stockstill. There was definitely a precious anointing present throughout the entire broadcast. We know that when the Lord is present, there will always be fruit to verify and confirm that presence.

I am overwhelmed by the response we have received. Hundreds of prayer request have been pouring in from around the country and nations from around the world. What an honor to pray with the hurting and broken. Join with me in expecting God to meet every need.

We have also received many testimonies from the program. During the broadcast I felt led to tell the viewers that their mountain knows their voice. As many began to speak to the mountain of sickness, financial lack, and troubled marriages, miracles began to happen. Many have testified to being physically healed. Others had major financial breakthrough within 24 hrs of watching the program.

The greatest testimony came from a man who was 2 weeks away from becoming the high priest in a satanic cult. As he came home from work, he turned on the TV. Guess what was on? That's right. The TBN program. He could not turn the channel. As I began to talk about the cross and the Holy Spirit, the room filled with a bright light. A man with fire in his eyes and holes in his hands and feet stood before him. A voice came saying, "I am Jesus, the Messiah." Our precious Lord Jesus revealed himself to this man. Jesus spoke to him and said, " I love you and always have. I have called you even before you were born. The harvest is ripe and I am calling you to help reap it."

While this was happening, the man recalled that demons began to leave him as they violently screamed. The women who lives with him, came home around this time, and recalled a sweet smell upon entering the house. Then she was overwhelmed with a great sense of love. As she walked into the living room, she saw the young man weeping and speaking in an unknown language! By the way this women was healed of diabetes at that moment and has not taking insulin since.

After this visitation from Jesus, this man told members of the cult what had happened to him. 3 high priest from the cult, came to talk with him and collect the satanic bible that he had in his possession. He refused to give it back and told them that he was bringing it to me to burn it! While he talked to them, the love of God overwhelmed them. He led all 3 of them to Jesus!

This testimony is one of the greatest I have ever heard. This is what Christian TV should be doing. This is why we need networks like TBN. God used that program as a means to bring healing, blessing, salvation, and deliverance. Especially for that young man who was on his way to being a satanic high priest. Take that devil! You lost again. To God be the Glory!

1 Cor 15: 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4306778505397014735.post-46581218907523109932008-08-15T10:48:00.002-04:002008-08-15T14:56:12.012-04:00Week of Harvesting!

As I mentioned in the last blog, Cristina and I were on the road for a week of ministry. The Lord moved so powerfully during our services in Detroit and Canada. In Detroit, we saw hundreds of people healed in a moment's time. I mean it happened in a split second. I asked those who knew that they were healed to raise there hands and literally hundreds of people raised their hands at once. I have never seen God heal so many people at one time so quickly.

Over 600 souls came to the Lord during our trip! People flooded the altar with tears of repentance as the blood of Jesus washed over them. We rejoiced over all the healing miracles, but nothing compared to the joy of seeing all those souls saved.

It was definitely a week of great success. Winning the lost and bringing them to the foot of the cross is what ministry is all about. To God be the Glory!

John 12:32 And when I am lifted up on the cross, I will draw everyone to myself."Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4306778505397014735.post-15229212350149728532008-08-05T10:07:00.002-04:002008-08-05T10:31:52.298-04:00On the Road Again!

This Thursday Cristina and I will be headed on a week long ministry trip. We will be in Detroit Thursday through Sunday and then Monday, off to Canada. It will be a busy week, but I am looking forward to all that God is going to do.

To start off, we will be ministering at a youth conference in Detroit. God is doing something in and through this next generation. I feel strongly that the Lord has given me a word that will challenge and inspire these young people. I am also expecting many salvations!

We will also be with two great churches on Sunday. In the morning we will be with Bishop Iona Locke. She is an amazing woman of God who is doing a great work for the Lord. I have had the privilege of speaking at her church before. It is an honor to return to her pulpit.

In the evening, I will be ministering for Pastor J. Drew Sheard. I have not had the chance to meet this wonderful pastor yet, but I have heard great things about him and his family. I know that he has a tremendous ministry and has built up a great work in the Detroit area. I am anxious to get there and see for myself all that God is doing.

Monday, we are off to Canada. I will be speaking at a conference Monday and Tuesday night. I am anticipating a great move of the Holy Spirit. I count it a privilege to be able to go to another country and share the message of Jesus Christ. God is going to do mighty things during those two days.

Pray and agree that the Lord will use us in a powerful way. I cannot wait to report back to you, all that will have happened on this trip!

Mark 16:15-18
15 And then he told them, "Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone, everywhere. 16 Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. 17 These signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak new languages. 18 They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won't hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick and heal them." NLTUnknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4306778505397014735.post-16812260034952769222008-07-08T10:17:00.002-04:002008-07-08T10:31:36.290-04:00Where Have I Been?

It's a good question. It seems like a lifetime since my last blog and I am sure some of you have given up on me. We have been extremely busy over the last few weeks. Between organizing ministry trips, planning services, overseeing ministries, and traveling, I have not even had the time to keep up with my fellow bloggers.

The past few weeks have been exciting for the church. God is releasing a fresh revelation of the principles of praise. I can't believe what I am seeing in lives of the members at NBHC. They have a become a wild and radical people who have lost all inhibitions.

We are also seeing a restoration of authority in the individual lives of the church. People are beginning to declare and decree, and heaven is backing them up!

This is truly an exciting season that we are in. I anticipate an ever increasing outpouring of God's Spirit.

Oh yeah, make sure you check out our new website! www.jonathanmillerministries.comUnknownnoreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4306778505397014735.post-50325984909182174962008-06-07T16:46:00.006-04:002008-06-07T17:25:02.770-04:00Happy Anniversary!

This Thursday, June 12, Cristina and I will be celebrating our 4th anniversary. It seems like only yesterday we stood before God and family to pledge our lives to one another. I can honestly say that I am more in love with her today than I was the day we married. Cristina has a lot more years to go, but so far so good. She is definitely the one that God called to be by my side. I am convinced that no one on this planet could be a better support, voice of wisdom, and friend than what she has been to me. She has loved me unconditionally. She is the source of my strength. She is my inspiration. She is my best friend. And as an added bonus, she also happens to be the most beautiful creature I have ever seen! I have been longing for a greater demonstration of God's Glory.

Often times we confuse God's presence with His glory. The presence of God is quite different than His glory. The presence reveals what God does, while the glory reveals who He is. God's presence is like His fragrance while the glory is His essence. When we stand in the presence of the Lord, we stand next to Him, but when the glory is revealed we stand in Him. Presence changes things but the glory changes lives. It is the nature of God revealed. Look at 2 Corinthians 3:18. It is when we see and have an encounter with His glory that we are changed into the same image of Him.

This is what I have been longing for. Oh to see the church filled with His glory. I am not interested in seeking sign and wonders, although they are a necessary part of the kingdom. I am not interested in favor, wealth, or promotion. I want to see the glory of Almighty God revealed in an unprecedented way!

If you were unable to attend this past Sunday night service, you missed something incredible. The cry of my heart was answered and I know that it was only the beginning. I am thankful for God's presence, but will not be satisfied with anything less than His glory. I encourage you to get the message from that service. There are revelations and truths explained in the sermon, that I could never find the words to write. I know your faith will be stirred and your heart will long for His glory.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4306778505397014735.post-48375886547739747462008-04-30T09:50:00.003-04:002008-04-30T11:35:01.524-04:00A Fresh Anointing

My wife and I are just getting settled in after an amazing trip to the UK. I want to thank all of you for your prayers and support. What the Lord did during our meetings there cannot be adequately described through words. It was absolutely awesome.

We arrived in London last Tuesday and began Wednesday with five straight days of ministry. From the very first service it was obvious that God was releasing us into a new level of the anointing. There was a hunger in the people that I have never seen before. There was a pull and a demand for the prophetic anointing. I soon realized that I was not sent there to operate in the gift of an evangelist or that of a pastor. God had graciously put a prophetic mantle on me for this assignment.

Something new was released in England this past week. I can sense the beginnings of revival. My wife and I are already planning a return trip in October. We must strike while the iron is hot. God has opened a door for our ministry there and we must seize the moment.

We will share more details of our trip this Thursday night and Sunday morning . It will be so wonderful to see all of you again. As much as we enjoyed our stay in the UK, there is no place like home. We missed all of you!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4306778505397014735.post-44462172668166819782008-04-19T15:32:00.002-04:002008-04-19T15:48:06.016-04:00Off to England!

This Monday my wife and I will be going to London, England for a week of ministry. We will be in 5 different churches in the London area. We will be holding healing services twice in one of the churches Thursday night and Sunday night. The Lord has also opened the door for us to appear as guests on Revelation TV two different days during our stay. Revelation is one of the biggest Christian networks in all of Europe. You can follow our schedule by looking at the web site, www.jonathanmillerministries.com

It has been over a year since the time the the Lord first put England on our hearts. We were supposed to go last year, and it just did not work out. But, now our tickets are booked, churches are lined up, and we are ready to go.

I am expecting a mighty move of the Holy Spirit next week. I know that God will bring healing to the sick and salvation to the lost. I am also feeling a strong prophetic burden for the people of England. God's Word will go forth. The fire of the Holy Ghost will fall and the river of the Lord will freely flow.

Cristina and I are asking that you stand in prayer for us this entire week. Your prayers are important as they bring increased strength and divine breakthrough. I eagerly await our return so we can share with you all that our Lord has done. I know this is our first ministry trip across sea, but it definitely will not be the last. Look out England, here we come!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4306778505397014735.post-4070523485988773132008-03-25T10:09:00.003-04:002008-03-25T10:23:59.249-04:00Evangelism Explosion!

In the last two weeks our witnessing teams have led over 600 people to the Lord! As I mentioned in the last blog, we joined forces with Pastor Rodney and the Great Awakening team in a city wide evangelistic outreach. Since then, our church has caught the Holy fire of evangelism and are continuing to take the gospel to the streets. Our college group won 74 souls in just 1 hour of time this past Friday. On Saturday we sent out another group of 40 people and they won 150.

On Easter Sunday, the fruit of our labor was evident, as many of those won on the streets attended our service. Many of them were filled with the Holy Ghost and now awaiting water baptism. How exciting!

As a pastor, I could not be more proud of the people of New Beginnings. Even though soul winning can be a difficult, scary, and trying experience, we have forged on and taken the devil's kingdom by storm. I can only expect this fire to burn more fervently as we continue on.

Matt 9:37-38 He said to his disciples, "The harvest is so great, but the workers are so few. 38 So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send out more workers for his fields." NLTUnknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4306778505397014735.post-12585342257770804312008-03-16T07:01:00.002-04:002008-03-16T07:31:11.620-04:00Harvest Week!

This past week our church joined Pastor Rodney Howard Browne and the Great Awakening Team for a week of soul winning. The street witnessing started on Monday and concluded Saturday.

A few months ago when I heard of this upcoming outreach, my Spirit was stirred. I sensed that something great would happen, not just for the community of Orlando, but also in our local body.

My expectations paled in comparison to the reality of what happened. 20,000 people gave their life to the Lord in just one week! Our team of people were responsible for leading over 400 to the Lord. One precious lady in our church led 66 people in the prayer of salvation. All of this taking place on the streets. Wal-Mart, grocery stores, apartment buildings, and city parks all became a field ripe unto harvest.

I am thankful for someone like Pastor Rodney who has heard the heartbeat of God and is in pursuit of His passion. Our city and church will never be the same. Those who went into the streets have now tasted of the fulfilling feeling that comes when leading someone to the Lord. Soul winning will be a part of our culture at New Beginnings. It will become a way of life. A fire has been lit and a passion has been released. Look out devil!

I am convinced that this is what will bring revival. Jesus did not command to go into the churches and compel them to come in. He commanded that we go into the highways and streets. Many times churches just exchange fruit instead of bearing new fruit. Revival will never come this way. It will happen as sheep begin bearing sheep. This has started happening at New Beginning. Revival is just around the corner!

Luke 14:23 Then the master said to the servant, 'Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4306778505397014735.post-46154417331874397502008-03-03T12:02:00.002-05:002008-03-03T12:15:07.427-05:00Faithful God!

Yesterday we had the privilege of hosting Dr. Ed Nelson at New Beginnings. He ministered during our am and pm services. Both were incredible! Dr. Nelson has an understanding of the Word that is rare. As he shared from both his knowledge and revelation of the Word, many lives were touched.

I would love to share with you what he preached during both service, but there is no way that I can put into text all that was said. I would not know where to begin. If you were in the services yesterday, you can understand the difficulty of that.

I thank God for sending Dr. Nelson to us in a time most needed. Many of our people are facing the issues and struggles that he addressed yesterday. It seems no matter how hard things get at times, God always sends a messenger with a word that is perfect in it's timing.

We must always remember that God cares for us. He cares more for us than we are capable of comprehending. It is His desire to prosper us in every way. He takes joy in favoring us.

God is faithful!

Phil 1:6
6 And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.AMPUnknownnoreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4306778505397014735.post-58952572324680206712008-02-13T14:10:00.009-05:002008-02-26T14:09:57.777-05:00Ps 61:2 "From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I."

Dearest Friend,

It is with great sadness that I come to you with the news about our precious friend, Amy Stockstill. Our congregation needs to join their efforts. I want you to get into the battle and be a part of bringing this situation to the throne of God. Ministries were established and leaders were equipped. As with Nehemiah, we had a group of people with a mind to work, build, and establish. A place of peace and fulfillment had to be prepared for the many that are seeking for a church to call "home". I feel that in '07 that assignment was successfully accomplished.

The number 7 speaks of completion. I know that as a church we entered into that phase of completion this past year. At the end of this phase for Nehemiah, he had to begin setting his sights on populating the city that had been prepared. In Nehemiah 7 he finds a register of names. This list consisted of the families that came with Ezra just a few years before. These freed Jews tried to build and establish themselves as a people, but had no success. The enemy would come and destroy any progress that they made. This continued for 7 years. Then God raised up Nehemiah to build and finish the work. The enemy would no longer be successful in thwarting their efforts. At the beginning of the 8th year, Nehemiah was ready to call the names of those on the register to re-populate the city.

Can you imagine the joy of those who were on the list? For 8 years they fought to be established but had no place to call home. They must have felt forgotten and insignificant. Maybe some even lost hope in that they would ever have a place of establishment and peace. But in the beginning of the 8th year, God put an end to that! I believe that is what He is doing in Orlando in 2008. He is calling the names of those in this region who have felt forgotten and neglected, those who have not had a place of peace and rest. He will populate His city and church with those who are on that list.

2008 will be a year of surplus. One definition for the number eight is: a surplus above the perfect number 7. This year, we will see a surplus above perfection!

2008 is a year to look forward to the future and not back to the past. In Acts 1:10-11, the disciples were looking up into the clouds where they had last seen Jesus. The 2 angels asked them why they were still gazing up toward the heavens. I believe there is great significance in this question. Before Jesus was taken up, He told the disciples that He was sending one after Him. A new dispensation of "Himself" was to be released through the person of the Holy Spirit. Why were they wasting their time looking at what was, when they should have been in the upper room preparing for what was to come. Many in the body of Christ are hung up on the "yesterday" move of the spirit. They constantly dwell on and reminisce of the past. It is time to look toward the future. God is ready to do something beyond what has ever been seen. We cannot waste time looking back. We must prepare to move forward. The best is yet to come!

Hag 2:9, "The future glory of this Temple will be greater than its past glory, says the LORD Almighty. And in this place I will bring peace. This is our favorite time of year. It is a time for giving, loving and spending time with those who are dearest to our hearts. But most of all it is a celebration of our Lord Jesus and His birth. We are so thankful to God for sending His Son to earth to be our Lord and Savior. Jesus truly is the greatest gift on earth.

During this season we are reminded of how much we love our natural family as well as our spiritual family. Many times we feel closer to our brothers and sisters in the Lord than even our natural family. We are all connected by the precious blood of Jesus. Our bond and covenant is stronger than any natural relationship could ever be.

Please know that we are praying for you and your family. I believe that the upcoming year will be filled with great and wonderful things.

Please continue to pray for my family and the ministry as we enter into this next year. We need your love and support in order to fulfill all that God has set before us.

Heb 13:15-16 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. 16 But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. NKJVUnknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4306778505397014735.post-43402018736147954722007-12-13T12:19:00.000-05:002007-12-13T12:43:25.981-05:00The Last Shall Be First

In Luke 14:15-24 we read the parable of the great supper. This scripture ultimately speaks of eternity, but I believe that it also has prophetic implications for today. The master of the house speaks of our Master, Jesus. He has prepared many great and wonderful things for those who love Him. It is His pleasure to give these gifts to His people. However, in this story we see 3 types of people who were invited, but due to selfishness, refused the invitation and missed all that was prepared for them.

The first invited was too busy looking at a piece of land that he purchased. This speaks of materialism. Some are so busy pursuing materialistic things, that they miss their true purpose, sometimes even loosing their salvation.

The second man wanted to prove the new oxen that he purchased. This represents the type of person who is too busy working to allow anytime for spiritual matters.

The third man was too busy because he just got married. Within days of his marriage, he had already allowed the line to be crossed and God was pushed out. Too often we allow legitimate family problems to develop into illegitimate excuses to miss the things of God.

The master was angry because those who he chose and invited wanted nothing to do with his banquet. They were his first choice and he became their second. He quickly bypassed them and sent invitations to the desperate. Before long, the house was full, and hungry people were filled.

I believe that we are living in a day where many people God has chosen have become filled with selfishness, pride, and greed. Yet there is a desperate, hungry people who will ever appreciate the gifts and callings of God. The hungry are taking their place at the table, while the others are simply being bypassed and forgotten. Their is a great shift that will take place in 2008. God will bring down the arrogant, proud, and greedy, and elevate the humble, pure, and the broken. Those who have been first will be last. Those who are last will be first. It is time to take our place at the table. All is ready!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4306778505397014735.post-16168138919218699582007-12-03T15:20:00.001-05:002007-12-03T15:46:49.828-05:00Growth and Multiplication

This is an exciting season for New Beginnings Healing Center. We are experiencing growth in every way. Ministries are being formed that will meet the specific needs of the variety of people attending our church, as well as reaching ouy to those outside the church.

Our children's ministry,"Praizin Generation", is up and running, and proving to be a unique, dynamic, and powerful tool in shaping the lives of our children. Our college age adults group,"The Dragnet", is now meeting on a weekly basis.

We are continuing to see great results from our nursing home, jail, and and hospital visitation ministries. Many in prison are receiving Christ on a weekly basis. Many elderly people are getting saved and encouraged through our nursing home services. People in hospitals are being touched and healed.

We are know in the process of organizing men's and women's ministries. Also, we are preparing to start our street evangelism team. People will be out witnessing on a weekly basis and I believe we will see many saved as a result.

God truly has given us people with a heart for ministry. As we continue to be an outreach, God will increase our church in every way. Their is a great harvest before us.

We have been in a season of growth. But I believe now more than ever that we are entering a season of multiplication.

Gen 35:11 Also God said to him:"I am God Almighty.
