Happy Anniversary!

This Thursday, June 12, Cristina and I will be celebrating our 4th anniversary. It seems like only yesterday we stood before God and family to pledge our lives to one another. I can honestly say that I am more in love with her today than I was the day we married. At that time it did not seem possible to ever love her more than I already did, but somehow she has continued to capture my heart and helped me experience a love that I never dreamed possible.

I know that to some married couples, 4 years may not seem like much of an accomplishment. But for me, it's hard to believe that someone has survived me for this long of a time. Cristina has a lot more years to go, but so far so good. She is definitely the one that God called to be by my side. I am convinced that no one on this planet could be a better support, voice of wisdom, and friend than what she has been to me. She has loved me unconditionally. She is the source of my strength. She is my inspiration. She is my best friend. And as an added bonus, she also happens to be the most beautiful creature I have ever seen! How blessed am I?

I want to thank my wife for all her love, care, and support. She means the world to me and I am so thankful to God for this precious gift. He really out did himself! I look forward to a lifetime of loving her. Someday soon we will have children. I know that she will be the best mother in the world. I cannot wait to be a father to her children. It has been my greatest honor to be her husband, and what an honor it will be to father her children.

My scripture for this blog is Proverbs 31:11-29. It's Cristina's bio! Check it out.

Greater Glory

Over the past few weeks there has been a stirring in my spirit. I have been longing for a greater demonstration of God's Glory.

Often times we confuse God's presence with His glory. The presence of God is quite different than His glory. The presence reveals what God does, while the glory reveals who He is. God's presence is like His fragrance while the glory is His essence. When we stand in the presence of the Lord, we stand next to Him, but when the glory is revealed we stand in Him. Presence changes things but the glory changes lives. It is the nature of God revealed. Look at 2 Corinthians 3:18. It is when we see and have an encounter with His glory that we are changed into the same image of Him.

This is what I have been longing for. Oh to see the church filled with His glory. I am not interested in seeking sign and wonders, although they are a necessary part of the kingdom. I am not interested in favor, wealth, or promotion. I want to see the glory of Almighty God revealed in an unprecedented way!

If you were unable to attend this past Sunday night service, you missed something incredible. The cry of my heart was answered and I know that it was only the beginning. I am thankful for God's presence, but will not be satisfied with anything less than His glory. I encourage you to get the message from that service. There are revelations and truths explained in the sermon, that I could never find the words to write. I know your faith will be stirred and your heart will long for His glory.
